*Balance - that is everything, RIGHT?

In Person Classes

Karen’s Flow Yoga In-Person Asana Classes
~ Classes Are Now Upon Request ~

Each class is 75 minutes.

Class Description:

These classes are designed each week using several modalities.  With the idea that it is important for us to try to give stretch to all muscles and move all bones. Karen presents the idea of how to do this in a gentle heart centered manner.  Starting with establishing breath and opening our heart to calm the nervous system.  Once that is practiced we’ll begin to connect our breath with intentional movement. Direct awareness to different parts in order to open spaces and release tension.  Twisting towards the end with a nice 7 minute relaxation to finish the practice.  You will leave feeling more open and centered to take on your day.

All you need to bring is your own yoga mat.  All props are provided.

These classes are at Karen’s home studio.  Please call or text to reserve your spot.

Space is limited.

Book we are studying: THE YAMAS & NiYAMAS Exploring Yoga’s Ethical Practice

by Deborah Adele

This is a very unique class that starts out with a check in and Karen then will set an intention from the book.  We choose the Yama or NiYama we are working on for that particular month and discuss, apply and practice with the intention of the lesson presented in the book.  Karen also brings into the discussion The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (where they are explained) to even deepen the experience.

Yoga Nidra & Living Yoga: A Journey Through the Ethical Principles

Join Karen Day for a transformative 4-week series combining the deep relaxation of Yoga Nidra with practical explorations of yoga's ethical guidelines (yamas and niyamas). Each session weaves together gentle movement, guided meditation, and profound rest to help you integrate these timeless teachings into your daily life.

What is Yoga Nidra?

Often called "yogic sleep," Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice done lying down that promotes deep relaxation while maintaining conscious awareness. This powerful technique helps reduce stress, improve sleep, and access inner wisdom.

- Experience the profound rest and restoration of Yoga Nidra

- Explore yoga's ethical principles in a practical, accessible way

- Learn how to apply ancient wisdom to modern life challenges

- Develop tools for self-reflection and personal growth

- Join a supportive community of practitioners

Perfect for:

- Anyone seeking deeper rest and relaxation

- Those interested in yoga philosophy beyond the physical poses

- Both beginners and experienced practitioners

- Anyone navigating life transitions or seeking personal growth

No previous yoga experience necessary. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, and any props that help you feel comfortable lying down.

As a widow I have, for many years, wanted to offer how I’ve navigated through grief, mourning and surviving the death of my husband at an early age.  It’s been 7 years since his passing.  We were married over 30 years.  Through my practice of Yoga, breathwork, and meditation  she has developed tools to assist in the process and loves to share it with those who feel they need extra support.  Tools are key to move through difficult times.  Karen has developed an array of things that support, assist and help in process of dying and surviving death of a loved one.  She can help you add to your own tool belt and to your toolbox.  This class is a very gentle yoga asana practice that brings us into the present and allows us to feel all the deep feelings that arise.  It is a safe place and full of supportive love.  Her motto is “Practice when its easy, so when things are hard you will have the tools”.  She also lives by the words she received beyond the veil from her husband Brent; “Its all about LOVE, and there are no regrets”

Please text, email or call Karen to reserve your spot each class.  Thank you.
