With over 18 years of experience as a yoga teacher and trainer, Karen Day brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and intuitive understanding to her practice.

As a 500 RYT Yoga Alliance certified instructor, Karen has dedicated her life to helping others find balance, healing, and personal growth through yoga.

Karen’s journey in yoga began in 2006 when she completed her first year-long 200-Hour Yoga Training Course. Since then, she has continuously expanded her expertise, including, running a 300-Hour Yoga Alliance Training Course, and a specialized Yoga Nidra course in 2019. Her teaching experience spans a wide range of settings—from yoga studios and gyms to massage schools, high schools, and churches—allowing her to connect with diverse groups of students.

At the heart of Karen’s teaching philosophy is a passionate belief in Yoga’s power to enhance everyday life. She specializes in functional yoga - making the ancient practice accessible and relevant for people of all ages and walks of life. Whether you’re a busy parent, a hardworking professional, or an active senior, Karen’s approach shows how yoga can be seamlessly integrated into daily routines to promote physical health, mental clarity, and emotional well-being.

For over 15 years, Karen has ran a thriving yoga business from her home in West Bountiful, Utah. Her crowning achievement has been leading a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program for 14 years, certifying countless instructors through Yoga Alliance. Karen’s comprehensive approach covers everything from yoga philosophy and anatomy to meditation techniques and the business aspects of all-things-yoga!

Karen’s teachings go beyond the physical practice of yoga. She incorporates elements of Ayurveda, Sound Healing and Grief Processing into her work, offering a holistic approach to wellness. Her retreats, held in beautiful Idaho and Southern Utah locations, provide transformative experiences for her students.

Inspired by personal experiences, including the loss of her husband, Karen has developed a unique perspective on love, healing, and living without regrets. This wisdom infuses her teaching, making her classes not just physically beneficial, but emotionally and spiritually enriching as well.
